We had a chance to sit with PauLWeezY, The Current Liege from the House Unbroken in the game Conqueror’s Blade and we wanted to know how Season 7 went for Unbroken and this is what he had to say.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
Howdy! I am the liege of Unbroken. I reside in Texas and I compete in CrossFit. I have done multiple competitions at the local and regional levels. One day you could very well see me on ESPN. I purposed earlier this year to my girlfriend of 4 years, now fiancé. We are currently in the wedding planning stages and hoping to live stream for my CB family to watch and participate. My Motto is positive vibes = positive results. Life is too short to worry about things you have no control over.
How and When did you end up joining Unbroken in CB?
One day I woke up and logged on Conqueror’s Blade to find my house was gone, it was Tuesday and I needed to find a house quickly… because I had unit challenges that needed to be completed. After talking to a few end-game houses at that time, I choose Unbroken. They were mature and did their fighting on the battlefield, not the keyboard.
How was season 7 now that the season is coming to an end?
Season 7 was a lot of fun; we ended the season as CHAMPS! The first season in a while that we have been on an even playing field. In prior seasons we have always been outnumbered, but never outmanned.
What was your favorite moment in season 7?
My favorite moment in Season 7 was attacking Chrysanthus and leaving it with Unbroken above it. It was an A stack fight with TWS, who many in the Conqueror’s Blade community believe is the strongest stack on the server. I still watch the videos from the attack and amazed at the plays our players made! Also Defending Turul Varos against an HeavenlyKingdom super stack is a moment we will cherish forever.
Any change you want to see going forward in season 8?
From an Unbroken perspective, we will always have one of the strongest houses due to our members, officers, and leadership. We are built for seasons to come and I am not going anywhere, this community has become a part of my family. As for the CB community, I wish to see a shake-up, but I am afraid that day will never happen. Personally, I think it is weird to see the top 3 of 4 houses in the server in the same alliance. Being a season champion is not an accomplishment in my book, it is more of a participation trophy. I would like to see alliances limited to two houses or alliances removed as a whole to provide for a house vs house atmosphere.
What is your vision for the future for Unbroken in CB?
My vision for Unbroken Gaming is to have a solid 1 if not 2 teams for future Conqueror’s Blade tournaments. We have a lot of great members within our house who do not have the chance to play ranked. Fortunately for us, they are hidden gems no one really knows about or talks about… YET. Our community has grown a lot over the past year and taking it to the next level.
